It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas . . .

By Amy

Phew! We’ve been visited by some elves (via UPS) in major fashion the last couple of weeks. I believe to date we’ve counted 64 boxes with more on the way. Here’s a sneak peak at some of the new items we’re bringing in with holiday entertaining and gift giving in mind:

Bissinger Candies, St. Louis: Sugar Plum Truffles, Peppermint Bark, “Twas the Night Before Christmas” Chocolate Mice, Chocolate Covered Cranberries, and more!

Marich Confections: New line of organic chocolates including Dark Chocolate Brandied Cherries, Dark Chocolate Chipotle Almonds, and Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Cashews!

Knipschildt Chocolatier: Top of the line indulgences like Burnt Caramel and Hawaiian Sea Salt, Corn Flake Clusters, Wine Truffle Flight, and Chocolate Praline Bar.

Wildly Delicious: The new Petite Maison line is out of this world. One of the most compelling new products of the season are the olive wood cheese boards - no two boards are alike. Handmade from harvested olive trees that are too old to bear fruit, these boards are an honorable tribute to the memory of these prestigious trees and a fantastic gift for the foodie in your world! There is also a salt/olive bowl that matches!

Ineeka Organic Teas: Known as “The Champagne of Teas”. Loose leaf with an innovative delivery system known as the “Brew-tache”. Incredible!

Exotic Artisan Cheeses from small-batch farmsteads throughout the country, e.g. Mt. Chanterelle Mushroom Goat Cheese, Butter Kase, and Wild Rice Gouda!

Silver Joe’s Coffee: 8 new varieties from a meticulous crafter. And MUCH, MUCH, MORE!!

As you can see we’ve been attempting to find extraordinary, unique products for you! Our wines, gourmet foods, and gift designs should leave no need unserved.

Please make note of the following dates and feel free to forward all of this information to friends who might partake in the fun:

TOMORROW - NOVEMBER 20TH: BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU RELEASE
Grab um’ while you can! This years juice is very gulpable and of course, perfect for the holiday table or festivities. Also, WE’RE GIVING AWAY A $50 CERTIFICATE ON ONE OF THE BOTTLES THAT HAS BEEN MARKED! Put out on the shelf at 11 a.m. sharp.

PROGRESSIVE SALE - NOVEMBER 28TH - 11 A.M. - CLOSE
We’ll be running our annual progressive sale with 30% off of select merchandise marked throughout the shoppe between 11-12, 25% between 12-1, 20% between 1-2, 15% between 2-3, and 10% the remainder of the day!

ONCE UPON A HOLIDAY: LIVE WINDOW VIGNETTES - DECEMBER 5TH - 5 P.M. TO 8 P.M.
This is always an evening of excitement! Our theme for the live window this year is “THE SPIRIT IS WITHIN”. Let’s just say there is an exciting opportunity to win prizes here. Also, we’ll be doing a featured wine tasting next door in the MONROE CENTRE (Must be 21, no charge) as well as sampling out a ton of our new gourmet items, Christmas Wine, and our new teas in A. Renee! This is a family friendly event.

Lastly, if you’re still trying to decide on which wine(s) to feature at the dinner table here are a few ideas:

CLIF “THE CLIMBER” RED BLEND: Mostly Zinfandel and sustainably grown. Vibrant fruit with ample spice for those who prefer a bigger wine at the table.

ADELSHIEM RESERVE PINOT NOIR: This was the big winner at our most recent wine tasting event out of almost 60 wines!

MORGAN CHARDONNAY: Ooohhweee! It takes a lot for Chardonnay and I to get along, but this is a major exception to the rule. Always reputable and always very tasty!

SUSHI WINE: A blend of Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris from Alsace, France that is loaded with tropical delight. Not dry, nor sweet - a crowd pleaser!

PACIFIC RIM GEWURZTRAMINER: Washington state has truly taken the wine industry by storm with their art in a bottle. This lovely little gem is perfect for those with a bit of a sweet tooth.

CRANBERRY WINE: It is what it is and it is GOOD! Throw that jelly away, this will become your new tradition.

And if all else fails: CHAMPAGNE! We have a wide array of bubblies that vary in sweet to dry. My personal recommendation is GRUET DEMI-SEC from Arizona.

Stop by or give us a call for any additional recommendations. Hopefully we’ll see you at one of the upcoming events! Remember that we’ve added our gift design feature on our website at www.arenee.com if you’re in a pinch!

Wishing you and yours the most bountiful amount of love and blessings throughout the holiday season and into what will hopefully be a prosperous new year for all.

Cheers!

Amy
