“You say it’s your birthday…nanananana, it’s our birthday too!”

I cannot believe it has been FIVE YEARS since we opened our doors in what was then a little bitty 540 sq. ft. space. We’ve expanded twice within that time frame and are still attempting to add our wine bar concept on. Those of you who have been tuned into the blog since we put it up know that 2008 was a very trying year in general (for everyone), especially when it came down to where we were meant to exist.

As of now we are still in our current location and are again “waiting to hear” what our destiny is. We are candidly hoping that it is right downtown where we are as we attempted to accomplish two years ago (talk about full circle, right?!). One thing I found out is that you have to look at life as a constant learning opportunity and lessons to be learned, otherwise it can seem too much to chew on at times and most especially DON’T PRESUME A DARN THING.

Thus, in the intirum (while waiting) we decided that we are celebrating our FIFTH BIRTHDAY by partying ALL MONTH LONG up to our actual anniversary date, February 7th. Here is a rather long, yet exciting, list of all the fun events/promotions and HUGE GIVEAWAYS we’ve come up with to celebrate YOU supporting us as follows:

ON-GOING PROMOTION THROUGH FEBRUARY 14TH:
“BUY A SLICE!” We have a special type of cake that can be purchased for $5 per slice and every piece is a WINNER (Fantastic prizes here)!
This special promotion will run through Feb. 14th and will benefit the McLean Co. Child Protection Network representing abused children.

    This has got to be the birthday party of the year! I took the trivia, and I don’t think I did as well as I’d hoped. The bottle of NIVURO was very good.
