YIPPIE!

By Amy

OMG, I can’t believe I’m saying this but WE HAVE A LEASE!!! We are expanding where we are into the “wine cafe” concept after a long haul of chasing it down. We need your help though.

If you could please comment on this blog about your interest in having a unique, adult environment in your community so that we can pool them all together to take with us to the Liquor Commission and City Council hearings for approval. There can be a few obstacles to encounter with these situations so we thought we’d come bearing proof for the demand.

A clif notes version of some of the features at A. Renee Wine Cafe: artisan wine (of course), classic cocktails, eclectic small plates, piano/soft jazz & blues, low teas, bloody mary bar on market days, outdoor bistro tables, catering, and a sophisticated, yet unpretentious environment to mingle with friends or escape with your laptop and a glass of wine. Can I get an amen here?

Thank you, thank you for your continued support and we hope to be open by August or September once these details are out of the way!

We’ll let you know when the celebration party at the shoppe will be…once the lease has been signed, the money in the bank, the license approved, and architect papers are finished it is going to be FESTIVE around here :0)

Also, Wes with Pure will be back next week for FIRST FRIDAY between 5-8 with all new wines and we’ll have some samples of possible menu items out for your enjoyment and feedback.

TGISpring…almost market time!

Cheers.

Amy

Amen!! Congratulations – I find the news extremely exciting. You’ve found quite the niche – there’s nothing else in the community like it.

Yippee and Amen is right! I can’t wait for you to open. It will be so nice to have such a nice place to come in downtown Bloomington. We have needed a unique wine cafe and Amy and Cindy are the perfect ones to present it with grace and class.

We are so excited about the wine cafe. This town really needs a nice place for adults to meet, talk, and have a glass of wine and some good food. I am really looking forward to its opening and so are my friends!

Hallelujah!! I know how long Amy and Cindy have been wanting to do this. I can not tell you how excited I am to hear that it is finally coming to fruition. This is the perfect next step for downtown Bloomington. With all of the fantastic ideas Amy and Cindy have for the cafe, it is sure to be the new destination spot in Bloomington/Normal. Bloomington NEEDS this. I am so looking forward to the day that I can sit outside at a bistro table sipping a glass of wine with my friends! THANK YOU!

I would definitely be interested in hanging out there. I hope everything goes through and this can become a reality.

WOOHOO is more like it!!! My husband and I are so excited about a wine bar opening up through our favorite store…A. Renee. :-) This community NEEDS a classy place that we are sure Amy could provide, as she already does with her store. Good luck and we are praying for ya!!!

I am very excited to see that A.Renee has finally overcome their hurdle in trying to obtain the space they need to expand their business into an even more welcoming and relaxing Wine Cafe. The fine reputation that owner Amy, Cindy and their knowledgeable staff have built over these past few years, her attention to detail, her proven business savvy and her continuing commitment to see Downtown Bloomington grow and prosper makes this endeavor a win/win situation for all. I implore everyone not to overlook this great opportunity.

Not only will this be a unique establishment in the Twin Cities, but I believe downtown is the perfect location for it. “If you build it, they will sip wine there.”
