Wine Dinner at Swinger’s Grille

Hello, friends! Just an FYI that our next wine dinner will be held at Swinger’s Grille on Thursday, August 20th. This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. I’ve attached the menu for the evening for you. It’s all about pairing with my personal preference for gorgeous wines: CHILE!!!
Reception is at 6:30 with dinner following at 7:00. Price is $55.00 per person. Contact Gina or Katie at 829-5777 to make your reservations.
Reception: CALCU ROSE’
First Course: Garden Fresh Big Boy Tomato Salad with imported Goat Cheese and Roasted Garlic-Citrus Vinaigrette. Paired with PENALONEN SAUVIGNON BLANC.
Second Course: Pan Seared Halibut served over Blue Crab Polenta with Sage and Lemon Compound Butter. Paired with APALTAGUA RESERVA CHARDONNAY.
Third Course: Grilled Hanger Steak with Parmesan Eggplant Puree and Poached Porcini Mushrooms.
Paired with ALVARO ESPINOZA KUYEN
Fourth Course: Duo of White Milk Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich with Fresh Raspberries.
Paired with APALTAGUA RESERVA CABERNET SAUVIGNON.

EXPANSION PROGRESS:
Well, we’ve been told that we can begin to build out on August 15th which is great to have something to begin planning with now.
We’ve been collecting all these incredible vintage furniture pieces for seating and scored big on a handmade, inlaid, 23ft. bar and all of the commercial pieces to go with it recently. Let’s just say that my poor mom and grandma’s garages/living rooms are in a bit of disarray right now.
Beginning to select all of our craft beers, wines, and create our cocktail menus right now.
We’ll be needing your help coming up. Due to the lovely economy we are still having difficulty getting financed. Soooo…we’ve decided to come up with our own “creative financing” and are having an A. RENEE EXPANSION STIMULUS: ONE “SHELL” OF A PARTY event coming up. I’ll be sending out more details on that to come, should be a GREAT time and help us get the bare bones of what we need to finish it up and bring a very unique, adult escape for your entertainment purposes. Lastly, WILL WORK FOR WINE shirts are now in and are waaay cool. Local artist, Susan Palmer, did a custom piece for us on the back that will capture quite a few laughs. Grab one for only $20!
